• Special development for my requirements

As standard filaments often do not possess the necessary precision and optical purity, my filament was individually tuned and tested together with Bavaria.

  • Consistent quality without surprises

For high-quality lithophanes, every gram of material must react in exactly the same way. Bavaria delivers this stability – batch after batch.

  • Transparent Production

Clear communication, direct exchange, and collaboration at eye level.

I know exactly where my material comes from and how it is produced.

  • Genuine cycle instead of waste

We collect all PLA scraps and misprints. The recycling factory professionally processes them for reuse.

  • Regional Cooperation

Short distances, direct exchange, true transparency. A partner who shares our values.

  • Responsibility in 3D Printing

3D printing offers many possibilities, but also responsibilities. Together, we will ensure that material is not wasted.

How I produce sustainably despite specialized filament

For my light art, I use a specially developed filament from Bavaria, which has been precisely tailored to my technical requirements. This material quality is crucial to reliably represent the fine structures, depths, and light gradients of my lithophanes.

At the same time, sustainability is particularly important to me.

Even though my filament is custom-made and not from recycled material, I want to handle resources responsibly. Therefore, I collect:

  • Failed prints
  • Support structures of the monochrome lithophanes
  • Color change waste (the so-called "poop")

All these PLA residues are professionally processed by the recycling factory. This way, they re-enter the material cycle instead of ending up in the trash.

As an additional incentive, I receive points for every kilogram of recyclable material submitted, which I can later redeem for special projects – a system that benefits both the environment and my product development.

In this way, I combine high material quality with genuine sustainability – and each of your masterpieces contributes a piece to it.
